The Beginnings of Cartridge World

1988 - Cartridge World was founded in Adelaide.

1992 - Cartridge World is taken into the Franchise Market.

1997 - The first Cartridge World franchise was sold. The second, third and fourth followed in rapid succession.

2001 - The first UK Cartridge World franchise is established in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

2003 – The first US Cartridge World franchise is established in Orlando, Florida

2005 – August, open the 1,000th store worldwide in Atlanta, Georgia

2007 – Wolseley Private Equity purchase Cartridge World

2009 – Cartridge World is operating over 1,650 stores in 52 countries
