BALLARAT'S St Aloysius School community celebrated their 2011 Art Show last week, with staff and pupils showing their artistic flair.
Every pupil in the school prepared a work of art to be included in the exhibition,with parents and friends on hand to see the work and pay tribute to the students' artistic talent.
The event was supported by the Art Gallery of Ballarat, and was officially opened by John Flynn of Cartridge World Ballarat who sponsors the school's Gala Ball to be held later in the year.
Pupils at the school have spent part of term three learning about the vital contribution art makes to the world through culture and expression.
Principal Maree Roache said the pupils enjoyed the Unit of work.
"The enthusiasm for this learning is obvious when you look around and see the work the children have produced," she said.
